CALM CARE was created by the Department of Defense Education Activity and adapted for Kentucky schools.  It is a program designed to make deescalation techniques easy to remember.  It provides a quick self reflection tool that allows the educator to review their actions and consider areas for improvement.  This program is available for reproduction and modification  as needed for the benefit of all students.  Click a link to download CALM CARE documents and training tools.
